Madikeri is the place which stands for the refined kind of luxury. The place is very famous for its scenic beauty and biodiversity. The place is popularly known for its coffee plantations. Madikeri is located in the Kodagu district in Karnataka and is very close to the state borders of Kerala. Madikeeri fort

The Madikeri Fort is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Coorg. Built in the 17th century, the fort was the seat of the erstwhile rulers of the region. The fort has now been converted into a museum that houses a collection of weaponry, coins, jewellery, and other artifacts.

Best Time to Visit Coorg

The best time to visit Coorg would be between the months of October to March because the weather is cool and agreeable during this time. However, a minimum of three days would be required to explore all of Coorg's main attractions as it is a hill station located in Karnataka. Although Coorg can technically be visited all year-round, peak tourist season happens between October to April.. The Golden Temple In Coorg

On 17 February 1978, the Buddhist College ("Shedra") was constructed and completed. A new temple, the "Padmasambhava Buddhist Vihara" (known by locals as the "Golden Temple") was inaugurated on 24 September 1999. The temple has space for several thousand monks.
